trus Charice ternyata keluar sebagai pemenang Kids' Choice Awards 2012 kategori Favorite Asian Act. Charice sukses mengalahkan girlband dari KorSel, WonderGirls, penyanyi Yuna dari Malaysia, dan Agnes Monica (haha sebenernya nggak terima seeh).

Apalagi waktu dia diundang di acara Oprah Winfrey (talkshow gitu deh bisa dibilang) Charice tambah populer karena berkat Oprah Winfrey Show itu, Charice bisa berkenalan dengan David Foster yang sekarang jadi produser plus mentor Charice di dunia tarik suara.

Charice mulai dikenal waktu munculnya video penampilannya di acara Little Big Star (kaya American Idol gitu deh bisa dibilang)

Hwaa, one of beautiful voice in the world deeeh. "The Voice is bigger than you”kata-kata Oprah Winfrey buat Charice (thumbs up deh).

Sedangkan kualitas vokalnya telah dibandingkan dengan Whitney Houston dan Celine Dion (Oh My God…….You are really Fair). Selain Houston dan Dion, Mariah Carey dan Regine Velasquez juga sebagai pengaruh musiknya………..
